Tuesdays - Yoga
Join Ms. Jesse from The Do Good Movement for children's yoga classes. Classes will be held outdoors & indoors where students will work on movement, mindfulness and kindness through music, games and activities.
This program will be offered during the normal school day.
Wednesdays - Espanol
Ms. Jamie shares her culture and language with fun and engaging activities in Spanish! Children will be immersed in Spanish through songs, stories, and much more.
Thursdays - Arts & Crafts
Our Resident Castle Artists, Ms. Podlasek and Ms. Wells, roll up their sleeves to assist children in discovering their inner creative talents! Plus the Beverly Art Center will periodically join the fun!

Matt Gandurski
Matt Gandurski has been playing and teaching music in the greater Chicagoland area for 20+ years. As a former Beverly Castle student, now with two children having attended the Castle, Matt looks forward to sharing the gift of musical joy with the community that helped to instill that joy in him as a child

The Do Good Movement is an organization focused on children’s education promoting self-awareness, self-regulation, philanthropic stewardship, and social-emotional learning through a yoga foundation. Erin Stevenson
Ms. Erin (former Castle mom) is a 200 hour Certified Yoga Instructor, 95 hour Children’s Yoga Instructor and Continued Education Provider recognized through Yoga Alliance. Erin has been teaching yoga to children for the past 5 years combining her love for yoga, teaching children and philanthropy. Mother of two small children she knows and understands the power that yoga principles can have on maintaining a healthy mind, body and heart.
Jesse Nevills
Jesse is a 200 hour certified yoga instructor and high school level track and field coach. She has experience working with students of varying age groups and has spent time volunteering within the community at child care facilities. She hopes that the benefits of mindfulness and movement in everyday life will become more familiar to those she shares yoga with and that no matter what age, yoga will give them opportunities to connect within and spread love and light to themselves and to those

Jamie Vences
Hola! My name is Jamie Vences. I have been working in a preschool classroom for 25 years, this is my 5th year working at the Castle with the full time students. With my background of Hispanic Heritage I have also been a Spanish teacher for Preschool - 8th grade.

Mary Pat Podlasek
My name is Mary Pat Podlasek, I started working at The Castle in the year 2000. The Caste Preschool is truly a magical place where children develop holistically. I’ve loved art ever since my mother took me downtown to see the Picasso statue when I was 11. I’ve taken art classes all throughout my school career and continue to explore topics like glass painting, drawing, oil painting, craft painting, and so much more.
Cynthia Wells
Hi my name is Cynthia Wells. I have been working in Early Childhood Education for 40 years. I’ve always been the one that understands and connects with all children. My philosophy is to “meet them where they are, not where you are or want them to be”. I’ve always loved art and see the world through an artistic lens. Art is another form of expression that should be heard.
